Also, pay attention to the parents of your favorite puppy: are they healthy and not overbred, i.e. too small?
As a pedigree dog, a Chihuahua costs between 600 and 1,000 euros. Offers under 300 euros are actually always unserious. A full-grown Chihuahua should weigh between two and three kilos. As cute as so-called “teacup Chihuahuas” are, a weight of less than two kilos is considered questionable.
